Mining rally lifts up Aussie sharemarket

The benchmark ASX200 rose 26.3 points, or 0.3 per cent, to settle at 8828.3 points, while the broader All Ordinaries index lifted 27.4 points, or 0.3 per cent to 9098.6. Seven of 11 industry sectors ended in the green, led by the materials sector with a 1.4 per cent advance.
